Month-to-Month Lease Laws
- Termination Notice – A one-month notice must be delivered to end a lease.[1]
- Rent Increase Notice – No statute; 1 month’s notice is considered standard.
Required Disclosures (2)
- Lead-Based Paint Disclosure (PDF) – The owner of a building built before 1978 must provide this lead-based paint disclosure.[2]
- Non-refundable Fees – The landlord must state in the lease that application or pet fees are non-refundable. Otherwise, they will be assumed to be refundable.[3]
